Get out of the way Cramer, Jose Paula is here! Now, listen folks, none of the stuff that Mr. Bernanke said today changes the current and poor economic condition that we will continue to face in 2009. Let's see what Obama says tonight - all he can do is basically lift our hope but, that's about it - things remain the same: High unemployment, low consumer confidence, no one is spending a nickel, no credit, no confidence in the financial markets; therefore, you may just want to sell into any strength tomorrow...

The reason why I just do not trade stocks is because if you had purchased the GS Mar 110 Call yesterday at .46 per contract, today, 02-24-09, you would be up 339.13% as the call closed at 2.02 - this is beautiful! GO OPTION TRADERS!

Enjoy trading!

What's your primary criteria when selecting individual candidates? Earnings, news or fundamentals?

It is a combination off all; that is, technicals, fundamentals, earnings and any stock moving news such as speculative bankruptcy (i.e. DRYS - we all know they will not go bankrupt) and buyout news (i.e. ROH - we all know DC will have to buy it regardless). My experience has been that technical signals and news are better for me as I do not stick around too long. I apply more fundamental techniques when buying stocks for my retirement and my family (i.e. college). I knew the market would sell off today (I said it yesterday - see my post)...
